JOB PURPOSE/OVERVIEW
This role involves providing administrative support to the firm’s business activities.
SKILLS
• Previous business administration experience
• Knowledge and understanding of the legal services industry is desirable
• Responsiveness in acknowledging/reacting to tasks
• Very good demonstrable organizational, time management and administrative skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
• English - fluent spoken and written
• French and/or Dutch – spoken and written proficiency is a strong plus.
KEY TASKS INCLUDE
General administrative tasks
• Assistance with onboarding of new clients (e.g. collecting of KYC documentation and sending out engagement letters)
• Preparing, sending out and tracking invoices and incoming payments
• Tracking of business expenses and liaising with accountants on the same
• Creating, formatting and managing documents
• Maintaining templates and standard forms
• Managing IT issues with the firm’s external IT support provider
• Keeping the firm’s LinkedIn page and procuring content for posts
• Managing the firm’s ongoing compliance obligations (e.g. with Brussels Bar etc).
Other ad-hoc, project-related and administrative tasks.
